SUPER AMAZING BOOK WEEK

HELLO!!!

Today I am going to be writing about THE SUPER AMAZING BOOK WEEK, and my favourite 3 events that happened in book week

The Book Quiz

The four houses Ngatoto, Evans, Murphy and Brigandine, fought head to head at THE BOOK QUIZ OF DEATH Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnn. There were 4 different book quiz's, one for the years 1 and 2s, one for the year 3and 4s, one for the year 5 and 6s and one of the year 7 and 8s, I was in the year 7 and 8 team with Jessica, Sylvia and Lottie, we did well (I think).

Kate De Goldie

Kate De Goldie came to our school and she talked about some of her books and how she got the ideas. She also talked a bit about her past and the primary school she went to.

The Golden Tickets

Douglas is confused.

In Our class room we had to find the golden ticket by figuring out the clues and then going to the location of the ticket, and the prize is chocolate. I didn't find any of the golden tickets but it was good fun and I don't like much chocolate anyways, so I didn't mind

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DOUGLAS

My favourite book when I was younger was How To Train Your Dragon by Cressida Cowell. This book is about a Viking boy called Hiccup and his friend Fishleggs and they are trying to train dragons,  (why do you think the book is called how to train your dragon?), but after the first book stuff start to go down hill, so the end of the last book can be a bit depressing, not telling you why because of SPOILERS. I started to read this book series (there's 12 books) when I was 9, so not that long ago, and the reason I liked this series is because there are DRAGONS :D (I really like dragons).

So I know this is a short blog post so SORRY (so here is a dancing llama), (and a dancing horse for India) any ways.....

AFL WOOP WOOP



RAWR DOUGLAS IS ANGRY!!!!

So on the 29th of October and the 5th November, (yesterday), we learned about AFL. So in week 1 we had learnt how to drop punt and how to aim and we learned a couple rhymes to remember some important things, like laces away from faces and point your toe where you want the ball to go. We also learned how to do drop punts and we worked on aiming the ball, we also played a game where it was Penguins Vs. Polar Bears, and my team,(the Polar Bears) WON!!! VICTORY!!! This week we learned about how to pass using the handball technique and we learn some more stuff that were things to help us with using the handball pass, like the pirate dance and to smush ice-cream in to the X. Then we played the game rob the nest and my team,(the Light Blues), won round one and Avania and Niamh-y team (Dark Blue), won, the second round.

MY FAVOURITE VIDEO GAME



Don't ask why the picture is massive, it just is

HELLOOO!!! Welcome back to another blog post, today I will be talking about my favourite video game, which is Terraria.

Terraria is a 2D sandbox game. Now before you say its a 2D Minecraft copy:

1) Its has 12 different bosses, that's 10 more than Minecraft

2) This game is DIFFICULT, unlike Minecraft. (except if you play the X-Box or IOS version)  

3) This game has lot more content than Minecraft

Now that I have those points across, I will tell you about some of the gameplay. The gameplay consists mostly of exploring than combat, because even though the world isn't massive there are a lot of things to find and explore, find a spider cave? EXPLORE IT! find a sky island? EXPLORE IT! find the underworld? EXPLORE IT! (yes, you can got to hell in this game, its kind of like the nether for Minecraft). This games combat is like Minecraft, you chose which direction your sword will swing, and then you just rapid click a lot. READY? AIM! CLICK!!!!!!!!

WHAT WILL I DO I DO IN DA FUTURE

Douglas is bored.

HELLO!!! TODAY I AM TALKING ABOUT MY FUTURE JOB!!!!!!! So the job I want to do in the future is to be animator. The reason I want to animate things is because I like animating things, (I tried to animate a Minecraft thing once, ITS HARD!!!). If I want to be animator for my job, the classes I need to take at collage are the classes with photo editing and the ones that teaches me how to use computer programs like scratch and blender.

I also want to do YouTube as my job because I GET TO PLAY VIDEO GAMES FOR A LIVING!!! I mean who wouldn't want to play video games for a job!!! At collage the classes I need to go to for this job  are the video editing and photo editing classes.

NOOOOOO SCHOOl HAS STARTED

TODAY I HAVE BAD NEWS...... SCHOOL IS BACK, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I missed being lazy and playing videogames, *sigh* anyways I will tell you what I did in the holidays. So I went to the movies in the holidays, and I saw the movie Pixels and Pan, in my opinion, both movies were terrible, like most movies I saw this year.
Also my sister's birthday was on the first day of the holidays, GO BEBECCA BOBSON, and so she invited her friends for a sleepover and she kicked me out of the house, so I went to my Nanny's house.
So that's all the interesting things that happended In the holidays for me so......

 So I am meant to talk about some of the art we made for an art exhibition at school. So I am going to tell you about my favourite art piece form my class room and my favourite art piece from another classroom.

Here you can see part of the wall.



My favourite piece form my classroom was the epic star was battle with over 75 ship painted and put on the wall. I painted the star destroyer but it not in this picture.





My favourite art from another class was the MASSIVE X-WING, (I want it) anyway this x-wing I so massive they had to keep it in the class room, it also has a R2-D2 in the front of it. The R2-D2 is also a good helmet, (Jarden approved, he tried it on, it has no bottom so it became a mask).









Douglas doesn't care.
